Appointments
Routine appointments
Appointments are available to book in advance for non-urgent medical problems. The waiting times may vary to see your usual GP.
Routine appointments run at ten minute slots per patients so please try and arrive on time. We will also let our patients know if clinics are running late as our doctors are always doing their best.
If you have more than one problem to discuss, your doctor may request that you book a further appointment.
Lines open 08:00 – 18:00 Monday – Friday (excluding bank holidays)
If the call is due to a life threatening condition please dial 999 immediately.
Telephone 01752 229902 to book an appointment or to speak to a patient advisor.
Please help the doctor by giving the patient advisor as much information as possible. This information is strictly confidential and enables us to look after you appropriately.
Urgent Appointments
We run a daily duty clinic triaged by one of our doctors to deal with urgent medical conditions only.
Our patient advisors have been trained to ask appropriate questions to establish the urgency with which you need to be seen. Please help our doctors and team by providing enough information when asked.
We are always happy to see sick children on the day if their carers feel this is necessary.

Extended Access
We run extended access clinics which are for pre-booked appointments only. These can take place after surgery closing hours or a Saturday once a month. We offer face to face appointments and telephone consults. We have clinics with both doctors and nurses on these days.
Home Visits
Patients are requested, where possible, to telephone before 10:00 if a home visit is required that day.
We are only able to visit housebound patients. On average four to five patients can be seen in surgery in the time it takes to do a single house call.
The doctor may telephone you rather than visit you if this is medically appropriate. All home visits are undertaken at the doctor’s discretion.
